This is how my 23rd birthday started. It was strike of midnight when Clement wished me with a litted tealight a very Happy Birthday. Then Derrick, my brother, called me to check the time first. After he had confirmed it's after 12am, he then wished me a Happy Birthday. Passed on to Darian, my youngest bro, to wish me after that. I'm pleased to hear them wishing me on my birthday. *thank you Bros for taking the effort*

Next came the lagged sms from my Dad, wishing me a good year ahead of me. -I fell asleep- Got shaken up when my dad called at 1am plus to wish his girl a Happy Birthday! Followed by my mum's sms-bomb of 4 msgs. I felt so warm & never really slept so soundly ever before. My whole family remembered & I was afraid to know if they were to have forgotten. The fact was, they did not forget. Thank you.

Next morning, came 3 sms from ZiQing - my crabby pal, Kyie & J-Me! Thanks for being the first messages I read in the morning, it just felt sooo much better growing old like this.

*special msg to J-Me: "thnx" for remembering... Ha!

Went to work under a very gloomy & wet weather. Niral wished me, then Helen. All was quiet & no commotion, until Claudia, whom just sensitively turned 40 last Thurs, frighten me by screaming "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENISE!!" I had a jump! and the whole office got woken up, of course. Got a few more well-wishes from Carlos, Jason & Donna afterwards. Then Noisy-Rabbit, who claimed to know & remember everything of everybody really well, tried to cover up she forgot by saying "Now that I've put my bag down and got my caramel (smelly) coffee, Happy Birthday Darling..." as she hugged me. My mind: Right................................. thanks?

Whilst @ work, I was on the phone with Clement when he was distracted by his 2nd-line. From Cardno - his latest & most-wanted job, which had the interview on Friday. And Congratz sweetie! You GOT it!! OFFICIALLY EMPLOYED TRAFFIC ENGINEER. Good on ya mate! Haha!! Really good for you though.

Then Suzie M & Herna came to wish me & asked if the girls want to go for lunch with the birthday girl later. So the email went round... Niral, Herna Suzie M & myself went for lunch, Helen missed out on the lunch treat.

Got my birthday flagged on my Company's Bulletin. I was relieved, feel PART of the 'team'. Then collection of money to get my cake. Requested for Mango Gateau from BreadTop (aka BreadTalk aka Crown Bakery = because it's the same cake!) Got an extra Tiramisu... Ooooo.. fatty now...

Brought half the Tiramisu cake back & extra 3 pieces (Cookies & Cream, Cappucino Cheesecake & Choc Mud Cake) from Clement. Goodness me~

Below are the pictures of the Dinner @ Tony Romas. World Famous for their Ribs. It was delicious~ with those we ate went slightly under $50. HOW ABOUT THAT FOR A BIRTHDAY? Hee! It was great! Enjoy the pictures...

To all that remember my birthdays: Thank you out to you and all a million times. Thank you very much for remembering my birthdays. You wouldn't know how much all these mean to me, as I get older. When you know someone still remembers you & your birthday. It's just plain sweet. thank you for making me smile an extra smile everytime a sms or an email or card come in. And an extended special thank-you to Clement. Yes, thank you for the Roses & the dinner & your constant "Happy Birthday!" & everything you have done to keep me on smiles! Thank you dear. Till then...
